“THE 10” is ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose’s brand-new buffet restaurant concept.
Built around the theme of “a buffet unlike any before,” the restaurant offers a vibrant culinary experience filled with excitement and discovery.
Enjoy local flavors unique to Hokkaido while exploring dishes inspired by different regions and cultures. From classic favorites to new specialties, the buffet brings together a diverse range of delicious creations.

Akinori Yamamoto
Chef of Haskap The Garden

Born in 1973, Akinori Yamamoto graduated from a culinary vocational school before joining Hotel Nikko Chitose (currently Hotel Grand Terrace Chitose), where he developed his skills in banquet Western cuisine.
In 1998, he joined Royton Sapporo (currently Grand Mercure Sapporo Odori Park), working in the banquet Western cuisine division before serving as sous chef of the teppanyaki restaurant and later as chef of the café restaurant.
After gaining further experience at hotels near Sapporo and resort hotels outside Hokkaido, he joined ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose in 2022 as Deputy Chef of Haskap The Garden.
In April 2023, he was appointed Chef of Haskap The Garden.

Yoshikazu Watanabe
Bakery Chef

Born in 1970, Yoshikazu Watanabe studied Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine at a culinary vocational school before beginning his career at a traditional Japanese restaurant in Kyoto’s Sanjo district, where he refined his culinary skills.
Driven by a passion for desserts and cakes, he later trained in pastry techniques at a pâtisserie in Sapporo before moving into the world of bread making.
In 1999, he joined Hilton Otaru (currently Grand Park Otaru), where he spent 10 years developing his expertise. He later opened his own bakery shop, “Pour Bour,” in Higashi-Muroran, operating for five years as a beloved local bakery known for its wide support from the community.
He subsequently served as Bakery Chef at Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort and Toba International Hotel in Mie Prefecture.
In 2026, he was appointed the first Bakery Chef of ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose.
